QAL block in pink

It’s time for block 4 that’s pink for the color of the month QAL!

For this block you’ll need dies #2, 5 and 6 and 3 different pink colors and the white background color

With one pink (A) cut out 4 of shape #2 (I did choose a directional fabric for this one so pay attention when sewing those together)

With another pink (B) cut out 1 of shape #2 and 4 of shape #5

and with another pink (C) cut out 4 of shape #6

Then with the background white color cut out 16 of shape #5

shape #2 is 2 1/2″ squares rotary cut

shape #5 is 2 7/8″ squares cut diagonally in half

shape #6 is 3 3/8″ squares

Now sew 4 sets of pink B and White #5 triangles together and sew 4 pink B triangles to the sides of the 4 pink C #6 squares, then add remaining white #5 triangles to it all the way around too (I forgot to take a picture)

Then sew the pink B/White HSTs together with pink A #2 squares (notice my directional fabric- you can either look at the finished block or just turn each square 90 degrees each time you add it)

I forgot to take a picture of the remaining white triangles around the #6 square, but you probably get the idea, then sew the block together like this with a pink B #2 square in the center of the block

That’s it 🙂 Have fun! tag me on IG @bealeequilter or email me pictures of your blocks!
