Who wants to join this Annual Blog hop called “Dust off a quilt book” ??
If you are like most quilters (and me) you have a ton of quilt books on the shelf and some are collecting dust, some you might have bought because you just liked the cover quilt or one quilt in the book, and maybe you DID make that quilt or maybe you forgot about it or the rest of the quilts?
Or do you have some books from looong ago, the style is totally wrong now but you can’t bear to part with it?
Then this HOP is for you!!
Pick a book from your shelf (it can’t be a new book) and look thru it and pick something from the book and make something new with it! It doesn’t have to be a big quilt, it could be a small quilt or a pillow or maybe you DO want to make a big quilt, I’m not going to stop you 😉
Maybe a block is really nice but the colors are all wrong or maybe you just get inspired by a block but want to tweak it? it’s totally up to you. Make something and show it on your blog between March 1-5!
Also show the book and what from the book inspired you, sort of a before and after picture 🙂

This was my project last year, I had this old Danish quilting book and found this pineapple block
and made a table runner!
I already have a plan for the quilt I’m making- the top is already done!! ha ha

I am going to see if I can find a quick one this week….not a lot of extra sewing time with a move, but maybe I can use up one of my FQ or charm packs to get something done!
