Moose Love Blog hop

It Moose be LOVE!

Isn’t that moose just too cute?

For this blog hop I REALLY wanted to come up with something using a moose, but I couldn’t think of anything, then I thought of hearts and love and I found I have NO red fabrics here and I was busy doing other stuff, so…. I found that I was working on something already that would fit the theme!

I was working thru some old “patterns” I had designed for Love-sew which are charm pack friendly and the patterns are now mine, but I need to rewrite them and maybe change some things around and write them in my format!

I had a charm pack called “Flora and Fun” by Robert Kaufman and then I used this pink leaves fabric by Michael Miller Fabrics

The quilt (and pattern) is called “Tied with a bow” and the quilt measures 40″ x 40″

the charm pack was fun and FUNKY!!

I used more of the pink leaf fabric for the backing and binding

I’ll have the pattern ready in my shop soon! If you sign up for my mailing list, you’ll be notified when it’s for sale and blog posts etc.

And of course it’s Accuquilt friendly but will also have rotary cutting directions.

I forgot to say thanks to JOAN at Moosestashquilting

  1. What a great way to use a charm pack, especially when they are as cute as those fabrics. Love the bow! Thanks for sharing, Bea!

I’d like to buy that pattern and the same fabric! Will you kit it at some point? Kath

  3. Such a sweet pattern. I love both your pattern and fabric choices. Great quilt.

  4. ooo, i love those fabrics. You and I think a lot alike, I tried to place the ribbon in my Christmas quilt but just couldn’t make it work, yours looks great!

I love this bow quilt – a fun present for someone who has everything! I love how easy it is to adopt the love them to what you are making…and this really worked for this hop!
