I’m in another magazine!! (you might have seen on IG or FB already as I showed pictures of the magazine)

This was a scrappy quilt I had designed in EQ and at first I was thinking of using the 6″ Qube set and just use scraps but then when I started cutting I realized I had used the 8″ Qube set instead and I then decided to use solid black yardage as I didn’t have enough scraps.
the center is die #6, then #5, then #4 and lastly #3
as you can see my “rule” for red and blue were anywhere from medium to dark of each of those (I do think I removed some of the chevron reds, they just really stood out too much) the blue on the grey block shown is a fabric from Singapore btw!
This was my leader and ender project in March/April when Covid hit and I was busy making masks but I managed to finish the top, then Quiltmaker sent out an email that they were looking for scrappy quilt ideas and I sent them this picture and they picked it!!
So I quickly finished it up and sent it to them 🙂
Batting is warm and natural btw and I quilted it with a design called “calligraphy” by intelligent quilting.
It measures 72″ x 88″
Congratulations! Wonderful quilt! I will have to see if the magazine is in one of the JoAnn’s or Walmart near me because I do not currently subscribe to Quiltmaker. I really should look to use up my scraps, also.
