Fun with SCRAPS

This week I’m going to highlight my scrap patterns.

January always seem like a fresh start and often with quilting you want to commit to using what you have on hand and not buy anything new- still paying off the bills from Christmas!?

So to help use up those scraps I’m going to show my favorite scrap pattern from my shop!

First up is SAFETY

It’s a super easy pattern that’s only squares and triangles and comes in 3 sizes!

This pattern is great for using 2 different scrap colors and even a scrap fabric for the background, here the sample uses turquoise and grey and I had no rules for the grey, if it should be light or dark, it didn’t matter, and turquoise/teal is a tough color too, but the white tied it all together and then the solid border, plus I made a scrappy binding too!

The pattern shown is made using the 6″ QUBE set but I always provide a chart to show what the sizes would be if you used the other QUBE sets!

and of course always provide rotary cutting directions!

and here’s sketches of the 3 sizes.

And a few sketches with different color ideas!

It’s really a fun pattern! TRY IT OUT HERE it’s on sale for $8 TODAY ONLY!!
