Fun scrappy Pineapple die quilt

I finished this fun small Pineapple quilt using patriotic fabrics and Accuquilt’s Pineapple die

 

It’s one of my favorite scrap dies! I’ve made SO many scrappy pineapple quilts with this die!

Here I made 9 identical blocks but only the opposing sides match, so two sides are solid grey (the only constant) the other two sides are red, then two diagonal sides are dark blue and two are light blue.

Then I rotated every other blocks and came up with this layout!

The quilt measures 38″ x 38″ and includes a 1″ and 3″ finished border

I quilted a star design all over it called “Star Shine” by Intelligent Quilting

For the backing I used a solid red
