Bible BOW and drunkard’s quilt top and spider web progress

I’ve finished the block parts for the spider web quilt, just need to trim them

I’m still nervous about how it will look. it may look cool or it may NOT!

we’ll see

here’s the leftover strings, as you can see I picked the green and blue option

I have/had an empty pretzel tub so I put the strings in there.

I also added the border on this drunkard’s path quilt, I’m not loving it, but it’s okay.

I also finished the Bible BOW- Deborah, who was a great LEADER in Israel, but didn’t boast about it, but gave God the credit. love that!

while I was making this block, I was thinking about STUPID commercials, where they show the woman being great or all knowing and the husband being a dummy! do you know what I’m talking about?? One comes to mind about wireless internet how he doesn’t get that it’s not a cable.

I don’t watch REAL tv much, we usually stream netflix, so I can’t remember that many commercials right now, feel free to chime in if you remember any or even find it on youtube.

Yesterday I received these yummy fabrics from Connecting threads- rhapsody of reds

They are for a quilt for Quilt it today magazine…

  1. Sonja and Peanut made me LOL! So cute!!I have often commented that I do not like the commercials where they dumb down the men. The men in my life are nothing like that, and if they portrayed women that way we would be in an uproar!Love those red fabrics–luscious!I'm glad you went with the blue/green strings. I liked that option, too. : )

  2. LOL, the pic of Sonja and Peanut is so cute. Look at the size of Peanut's paws (holy cow!) and the look on Sonja's face. Sonja is such a beautiful baby.

  3. You have a lot of fun stuff going on over there, I love the drunkard's path and seeing your little one.

Hi BeaNice blog! 🙂 I am amazed that you are able to accomplish so much – having three kids and a dog, quilting AND blogging. Your little daughter is gorgeous! I have two kids and barely manage to cook and clean. I was dead-proud, when I managed to make a few bandana bibs for my youngest, who dribbles like a waterfall. ;)The quilts are lovely – you are so creative! Best wishes,Rikke Birkedal

  5. Fun pics. And I am so loving that red line from CT. I want it all! I'm just trying to figure out what I'd do with it before I place my order. I'd hate to figure it out after and not have enough.
