Another long arm quilt for a customer

I quilted this quilt for a local customer this week.

She gave me free choice for both the design and thread color, and loved it when she saw it!

I’m not getting much sewing done personally, I did one quick project for Accuquilt. Otherwise homeschooling and doing stuff for my in-laws is taking up most of my time. I don’t mind doing stuff, and with homeschooling my schedule is very flexible and they live in town so it’s 10min away, not a big deal.

Solveig and I are done with the clay class and we went back to the studio and picked up our things, my husband had asked me for a cereal bowl and I had just made this wonky bow, it’s crooked and uneven- so I chuckle and said, that’s our marriage in a bowl! LOL

I’m working on this scrappy top right now, using the pineapple die from accuquilt (it’s probably my favorite die!)

I’m hoping to long arm quilt some of my own stuff soon too 🙂

I have a list of maybe 8 tops waiting to be quilted- some needs backing fabrics still.

I’m also prepping for Anja’s birthday on Sunday! we’ve ordered a bounce house and now finally the forecast changed to cloudy or sunny and NOT rain! Our governor just limited gatherings to 10 people now. UGH! and election news?? I’m so frustrated with it all!

  1. What a beautiful customer quilt. I think the design is Cactus Wreath, by Cozy Quilt Designs and you quilted it beautifully. I love it. Sweet ceramic items and pineapple quilt too! You are so gosh darn talented.

You have been busy with quilts! 8 tops for you is a lot. Your choice of panto really worked out well for the customer quilt, glad they enjoyed it.
