We’re still at phase 2.5 and kids are still at home.
But this week Solveig and I started an 8 week pottery class!
Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted to try the pottery wheel, but back in school in DK the wheel and seat was all in one and you had to kick a wheel with your foot to make the pottery wheel turn around and I was TOO SHORT! so I never got to try it in art class!! Now it’s electric and with a pedal to adjust the speed but then after that it just GOES! I was able to make 3 little bowls/pots here and I’m super proud of that! I had 2 lumps collapse, Solveig had all hers collapse and she was frustrated, but next week we’re doing more modeling, so that’s something Solveig really loves as she does her own modeling with super sculpey clay.
