Underwater Stars Teal Quilt

I just finished this blue and teal and grey version of my Underwater Stars quilt pattern (the first pattern I ever wrote)

Normally the pattern is written for 8″ blocks (using the 8″ QUBE if you want) to make a 44″ x 44″ quilt but I used the 6″ QUBE so the quilt ended up being 33″ x 33″ a nice baby quilt size!

For the long arm quilting I used teal thread and a design called “guppy”, I thought that would be fitting for an underwater named quilt, even though none of the fabrics are watery or fishy but maybe the colors a bit!

And since it’s a small quilt I was able to use a WOF for the backing and used this grey fabric and added the dark blue fabric as binding- it looks black but it’s really dark blue, it was the solid fabric in the moth FQ club bundle (From Jan to March)

You can still get the moth bundle or the new FQ club bundle here or even just yardage in my shop!

The moth bundle is on sale for $15!

You can also get the Underwater pattern here on sale for $8 until Sunday!

and I also sell KITS here in all 3 sizes with the current club fabrics!

When the quarter ends I usually don’t offer these specific kits anymore in these fabrics, but will offer the kits in the NEW club fabrics, so get them while you can! July 1st is when it changes!!
