This quilt was for my mom, her and Egon had changed up their bedroom back in DK and painted wall(s) black and added these black floral fabric curtains.
When they came to visit a few years ago they brought the rest of the fabric with them and picked out a pattern from my magazines and we went fabric shopping.
It’s not really MY style, but it was THEIRS and they love the quilt.
I do wish I had my long arm machine back then.

Here’s a table runner I made, all from scraps, I think it was one of my first if not the first time I did applique, I do remember removing freezer paper from the back and cutting away fabrics…
it’s a fun funky table runner, at first I was critical of it, but I think I’ve learned to love it 🙂
