Priscilla scrappy black and grey quilt is done

I told you yesterday, that it’s catch up week!

(I didn’t finish all these in a week, well sort of, I did the binding on 6 quilts in one day! but quilted them at different times)

Here’s a scrappy Priscilla quilt, made with the Accuquilt Priscilla die, it’s probably my new favorite SCRAP die, that and the pineapple die! I often end up with scraps of “strings” about 1 1/2″ wide and both of these dies are PERFECT for that!

Anyways, for this quilt I used all black PRINTS for the Priscilla points, and my rule was to be black on black, or brown on black, white on black or grey on black- with ONE EXEPTION…. and the middle triangles were solid black and the background triangles were grey prints, again not with any other odd colors on them. Then a black and grey border.

The quilt finished 39″ x 51″

Here’s the one exception! a bit of blue snuck in there… it’s from a solar system/ outer space fabric- Gosh I made that quilt for Bjorn when he was really little, I actually think it was a quilt that was published in a magazine too! That print was WILD but the least wild part was this blue I guess. I REALLY contemplated cutting another fabric but decided to keep it, maybe it’s Pluto or a Moon? next to a chicken. LOL!

For the grey background I had this greyish fabric with pale turquoise stripes or streaks on it and I decided it would work too and when I put the blocks together I tried to have the stripes go up and down ONLY and I think I managed to do that for all of the blocks!

For the backing I used some White Bee fabric from my FQ collection and also the black print for the binding.

The quilt design is called Triangle Maze
