I recently finished this brown and turquoise scrappy version of “Safety”
I still used the 6″ QUBE and my color A was dark brown, color B was Light Brown and color C was turquoise.
It was interesting to see it in different colors and totally scrappy, because white on white scrappy is hard to see from a distance, but instead turquoise scraps can be SO different! also my light brown squares were all the same fabric so that sort of ties it all together in a way.
I tried my best to not have the same fabrics touch, but a few places they do, that’s ok 🙂
I quilted a design called “Bauhaus” in a light brown/tan thread
I am planning on donating this to hospice, it’s so nice to make a “free” quilt like this out of scraps!
