A lady contacted me about quilting a quilt for her for a grandchild I think, she is from England and had used some British fabrics in it, then someone in the family was Dutch and someone was from Singapore (Chinese), it ended up being a very international quilt!
The Chinese symbols were iron-on appliqued and she had hand tacked them down too
and the Singaporean flag was also iron-on.
I watched the long arm and it ran over everything smoothly!
The lady picked up the quilt already and loved it!
She said she had a family member in England who’s a quilter and she had said the blocks should have mixed the blocks around in the quilt. I thought it was fun, like who cares…. I really don’t like the quilt “police”
