One of my most favorite Accuquilt dies is the Pineapple die!
The Pineapple die is easy to use and it cuts all the tiny pieces perfectly! I often have scraps of fabric that are a bit over 1" wide and this die is perfect for those pieces!
Here I used scraps of Turquoise and scraps of "white print" but tried to stick with prints that also had blue or black or pale colors, no reds or yellow
It's fun to use turquoise scraps too because the colors go anywhere from pale teal to dark turqoise!
Here's the finished quilt it measures 38" x 48"
Here's another pineapple quilt I made in scraps of yellow and grey and again yellow can be dark to almost orange and grey can vary a lot too from light to dark!
The pineapple die makes 10" finished blocks, here I combined it with another block and planned out the fabrics in the block, so it's a more sleek look!
The pineapple block is usually made with foundation paper piecing, but with the Accuquilt die, you don't need any paper and it comes together perfectly and super fast!
What color combination should I try next?
