Have you tried the new BASKET die by Accuquilt?

Have you tried the new 6" Basket die by Accuquilt?

I made this quilt for Accuquilt using this die and the 9 patch star die plus setting triangles and strip dies

42 by 42 inch basket and 9 patch star quilt made with teacup themed fabrics

I didn't take pictures of the dies while cutting but I always store my pieces in a plastic bin as I often work on 4-5 projects at a time.

What is AWESOME about BOB dies (block on board) is that if the shapes are sort of "funky" there's tabs cut out to help line up the pieces AND dog ears are cut off, so it's really fool proof!

Here's a close up of the quilt all done and the quilting! I used a loopy heart design and I love to use plaid or striped fabrics for the binding!

The quilt measures 42" x 42" and I used my club "teacup" themed fabrics for it!

With the basket die you can make 2 different blocks, the one with the triangles like mine or one with the traditional curved applique handle!

Here's some other ideas from EQ8 I came up with for this die

Get the die here (and there's links to other patterns too!)

It's on sale for March!

Have you ever made a basket quilt? did you rotary cut it or foundation piece it?
