2026 July quilt projects

Around 4th of July weekend we went to the NC mountains for 5 days (without Solveig) we did some hiking to see waterfalls and swam a little too

After we got back, Sonja had to go to a "murder mystery" game thing with her theater friends and she ended up being the murderer, ha ha!

I got more fabric bolts too for the shop!

Dan finished the hardwood flooring in Solveig's old room and we moved Sonja in there temporarily as he's working on the flooring in her room now!

I brought this pile of quilts to UNC last week for Dan's appointment and donated to the cancer hospital.

Do I really need to keep track on how many quilts I finish in a year??

It's easier for me to just do a blog post about what I did that month! so here it goes!

I finished the scrappy 16 patch quilt top, I didn't add a border because now it's 36" wide
I also finished the shattered scrappy blocks and added borders to it
and a spider web scrappy quilt top
plus I finished the Orange you glad Norahs garden quilt and brought that to UNC
I also finished the scrappy rainbow pineapple quilt and quilted it using a baptist fan design in black thread
and I finished this monkey wrench quilt that's made from a layer cake
And I finished this cornucopia quilt
and this priscilla quilt that was supposed to be scrappy but I had enough of these fabrics in my scrap bins so....
and this charm pack quilt I'll turn into a pattern soon
and I started and finished this NC star top using my bunny fabrics
and this Norah's garden funky version of my Cafe Latte pattern
And with the Norahs garden fabrics I also made this glorified nine patch quilt top
So that's it, I make more tops than I can quilt so my list to be quilted is long!
