Another friend at church wants me to maker her a baby boy quilt for her great grand son or maybe it’s great great grandson.
I don’t remember and right now she recently got diagnosed with cancer, but as far as I know radiation is working great! I made her a baby girl quilt a few years ago and she wants a similar one but with boy jungle themed fabrics- which she already picked out, so I started looking at my patterns and figured I needed to do a post about patterns that would go well with BOLD fabrics!
the first one is “A night on the town”
another is “Forest Flowers“, but it’s small, so I might need to make it bigger
another is “Baby stars” which is actually the baby girl quilt I made her but made it bigger
there’s also “My crazy cat’s quilt”
and “Feeling Better”
and “Chicken Coop”
and “Pumpkin Vines”
I think I offer all these patterns as kits too but not with baby boy colors, the next FQ club’s theme is pink birds so that’s at least baby girly.
I’m in the middle of shopping for the next FQ theme which would start July 1st
