I recently finished this cute baby jungle version of my Apple Pie quilt pattern!
I made the smaller version that finishes 36″ x 48″
I used the 6″ QUBE set, of course my pattern also includes rotary cutting directions!
I used some leftover jungle baby fabric from the FQ club and then matching blenders
I quilted large swirls and leaves in a pale turquoise thread
I used to hand sew bindings onto quilt but the last many years I machine sew them on, it’s just so much faster!
This pattern is fun because it uses the sashing as a continuation of the blocks so it’s hard to see where one block begins and where one block ends.
And with this version I kept the flying geese as one fabric instead of 3!
Also the muted teal/ turquoise fabrics and white plus the charcoal fabric just makes it a really sweet quilt!
For the backing I used some matching cloud baby club fabric.
Here’s some other ideas with this pattern!
