Recently a lady called me and asked me if I could quilt 4 quilts for her and I said sure and gave her a quote and she dropped off 2 and then 2 more later, I had explained that the top should be 4-6″ smaller than the backing and the batting in-between those.
I didn’t realize these were just fabric yardage sewn together! so 82″ by 86″ or around there, the first two she trimmed with scissors, after that I told her to NOT trim, I would just quilt them less and trim afterwards.
It was 2 boy and 2 girl quilts, here I quilted flames on the firetruck print 🙂
She was happy with the result 🙂
