Dan started the first round of chemo on Thursday.

He didn’t really have any side effects at all other than he didn’t sleep well the night before and the night after because he had to take strong steroids with the chemo, it was kind of funny that yesterday he was like the energizer bunny, doing stuff all day

we got him “chemo” gloves and socks from Amazon, they have ice packs inside and are supposed to help with NOT losing feeling in the fingers and toes which is a side effect of chemo.

I finished the temperature quilt for him! It’s huge! 72″ x 76″ or something like that.

My nail biting habit is so much worse these days so I went to a nail salon and got “DIPS” done, quite pricey, but I’ll keep going back for at least 2 months even if I don’t last 3 weeks between each set….

I also finally got glasses, I’ve had cheap reading glasses for a few years and I’m so tired of the glasses going up and down on my head, so I got my eyes checked a month ago maybe and then took the prescription to Costco and ordered these progressive glasses AND they are also transitional to sunglasses!

Dan’s has been doing a lot of projects around the house, I know it’s partly to just stay busy but it’s also because he feels he has to while he can and there’s an unknown timeline…. it’s kinda sad.

 

I’ve been doing less posts, also because I’ve hired Solveig to redo my website with shopify, so that’s coming soon!
