My birthday yesterday was super busy, first touring Meredith college for Solveig! – I think it’ll be her choice, but she’s waiting to hear from UNC Chapel Hill and DUKE (not that we can afford DUKE! and there’s no way UNC will match her scholarship!! UNCG and UNC Asheville or was it App state, didn’t….) We really fell in love with the small school feel, just like Wingate and that it’s an all girl school is really nice, nothing we ever thought about but it was CUTE! and it really seemed like the faculty cares about the students and the “sisterhood” that goes on there.
We had sushi for lunch after the tour, then went home and 2 families came over for pizza and it was nice to talk and the kids played- aged 5 to 20 if you include Bjorn in that group 🙂
I really haven’t done much sewing this week though, super busy with homeschool and just running around doing errands and appointments.
