We finished our last day of school, 5th grade and 1st grade. Though the girls will still do some math over the summer.
Bjorn was home from work for two days this week and I can finally share the NEWS that he found another job, it’s a graduate program with Deutsche Bank and it lasts over a year plus then job offer after that, the first week he’ll be in LONDON! then coming back it’s 6 months with one team and 6 months with another team and after that he’ll decide which group he likes the best, the US office is near us, so he’ll commute and I think half the days it’s work from home. It pays a whole lot more than his current bank job too! We’re very proud of him!!
On another note, I found out that they found a permanent nursing home spot for my mom and my mom’s landlord actually contacted me and asked what furniture and stuff I thought my mom would want to keep, as she’s getting forgetful and maybe I knew of something special, I really don’t but guessed a few things and called my mom and she mentioned one piece of furniture which I had guessed already. I’m happy that she’s going to a permanent place now! Oh I didn’t tell her the home has a CAT!! That was a reason why she didn’t want to go earlier; that she couldn’t bring her cats, but after her last hospital stay, the social workers said the cats were not taken care off and agreed with my mom that they should find permanent homes for the two cats she had left.
This week Solveig got her wisdom teeth out, she’s recovered really well! Bjorn is going in a week!! It’s expensive but needed to be done!!
