Happy New Year!
Did you have a nice Christmas? What a weekend that was for a lot of people, sickness and the snow storm!! We only lost power a few hours during the night, but half my neighborhood lost it for a while and while Dan and Bjorn were walking Chewy they saw a downed power line and called the power company when they got home (of course didn’t go anywhere near it!) So they got priority and got power later- don’t know when, but other friends and family had it out for several hours or a whole day! -I did hear that the power company shut off power in certain sections to not overpower the grid so maybe that was us at night?? I read online that the death toll from the blizzard surpassed the 77 blizzard, I was born in a snowstorm (Jan 78) so maybe that was the 77 blizzard that moved to Europe??

and the girls’ Advent Calendar ferris wheel, inspired by a sonlight book we read about mr Ferris wanting to build this big wheel as an attraction at the world fair in Chicago (to one-up mr Eiffel from 4 years before!) so I found this lego set on Amazon and split it up into 72 steps 🙂

even a marbling set, which we all got involved in and made a marbled sheet of paper!
Bjorn and I love board games or any kind of game and I found this game called Ransom Notes, it’s very fun! First a card is read out loud and each player has a handful of small magnetic words they then put together to fit the card prompt.
(It’s a 17+ game because some cards are a bit adult but we just put those aside, no big deal)
I seem to be in a scrappy mood lately and I’ve pulled out lots of my scrappy patterns and cut and sewed! (these HSTs are 1 1/2″- 1″ Fin)
I fixed the cost of the new Pasture pattern now! so now it won’t charge a shipping price on the PDF pattern!!
