It’s time for me to announce this yearly blog hop I have been hosting for a few years now, maybe this is the 3rd or 4th? I really don’t remember.
It’s called Dust off a quilt book!
If you are like most quilters (and me) you have a ton of quilt books on the shelf and some are collecting dust, some you might have bought because you just liked the cover quilt or one quilt in the book, and maybe you DID make that quilt or maybe you forgot about it or the rest of the quilts?
Or do you have some books from looong ago, the style is totally wrong now but you can’t bear to part with it?
Then this HOP is for you!!
Pick a book from your shelf (it can’t be a new book) and look thru it and pick something from the book and make something new with it! It doesn’t have to be a big quilt, it could be a small quilt or a pillow or maybe you DO want to make a big quilt, I’m not going to stop you 
Maybe a block is really nice but the colors are all wrong or maybe you just get inspired by a block but want to tweak it? it’s totally up to you. Make something and show it on your blog between March 1st-4th – Tuesday to Friday!
I do want you to show the book, the page that inspired you and then your finished piece!

Sounds like fun to observe and appreciate the endeavors, but I am counting my UFOs and deciding what gets finished and what goes. But I’d like to cheer you all on, and I don’t blog. Can I still join?
