Happy Halloween

Boo to you!

Recently I quilted this quilt for a new customer.

She had texted me a picture of it, but it was more Boo-tiful in person

halloween quilt

I forgot to take a picture of the pattern name but she had a big folder with the pattern pieces and pictures of how each block should be quilted.

I took some liberties, but otherwise kept pretty close to the pictures.

On the border I did a circular ruler work design

and straight lines going to the edge

I did some pointy swirls

some outlines and meandering

some echo quilting

straight lines

and steam coming from the pot ha ha

Of course while mommy has her back turned, SOMEONE had a blast making a mess!

well the customer loved it, she was surprised my turnaround was about a week as her last long arm quilter took a year!- I didn’t have a line and I figured she’d want it back before Halloween, so I worked on it soon after she dropped it off Smile
