Pincushions and embroidery and a Women of the bible block

I finished another Women of the bible block in this new round.

This time I’m trying to stick to the colors recommended in the study.

This is Sarah, the colors are yellows and brown to represent the sand in the desert.

I foundation pieced this block and in batiks, it’s just really flat and nice!

Batiks are from Island Batik

I’ve also been making another pincushion for MAYBE my December swap, we’ll see. I’m trying to “stock up” in case I get too busy after baby comes.

This was foundation pieced and I used scraps from a charm stack.

Meanwhile this one should be in Norway by now for Turid

And I got this one from Norway from Laila, really cute with a hand embroidered bird and flowers.

Laura also came over the other day and we embroidered two outfits for her daughter

One is this cute Snowflake sweetie on a winter dress she made.

(I may need to “borrow” this file too to make something one day)

And Laura is a Packer’s fan, so she found this online and we embroidered a onesie too.

(It messed up a bit on the “r” at the bottom, but I tried to go back and fix it as best I could, it’s hard on a knit fabric if things go wrong, to backtrack and redo it, but it’s still cute.

Yes, I just got the sweet pincushion from you, thank you so much. It's already in use. I love all the nice and pretty pincushions in this swap, and I love them jumping into my mail box. Impossible to stop.

a good block from Women of the Bible, have to own up to not having made any blocks yet. Great pin cushions, a sewer can never have too many of them. Also nice to see the embroidered clothes,
