A few little things

Just a few random things.
I finished this weeks Women of the BIBLE BOW..
There were 2 verse that stuck out to me.
here's the first one:
Gen 29:21 Then Jacob said to Laban, "Give me my wife. My time is completed, and I want to lie with her."

well!! that's a way to put it :-)
another one was this one
Gen 31:35 Rachel said to her father, "Don't be angry, my lord, that I cannot stand up in your presence; I'm having my period." So he searched but could not find the household gods.
another PERSONAL verse!
so since I'm using this hello sunshine fabric collection from connecting threads, I thought this laundry fabric was perfect, after all that's what you often do after the above verse. ha ha!! I picked the yellow when I thought of the camel she was riding on- now I should have put a red in there too, but there's no reds in this collection- only orange. I think I just picked the dark blue because I wanted the contrast :-)
a very interesting study about Rachel, and with the first verse above, Jacob sure got his way, first Leah, then Rachel, then their maid servants!!

I wanted to show this picture. Hubby got a new car this week or rather last week, he got such a great deal on it, it's 2011 I believe and 10K miles on it, BUT it was in a wreck, so this company rebuilt it, it's all exterior damage- so that's why it got a yellow hood, the car is being repainted this week.
vroom vroom!!
Now that I've been getting busy long arm quilting for customer, my husband is happy that I can help pay off his STANG!
so my vroom vroom is paying off HIS vroom vroom?! not really, but it helps

And speaking of RACHEL, my son has a little "friend" at school, who gave this to Sonja yesterday, she painted it, I think it's really cute!

today, the neighborhood ladies came over to quilt/ do crafty stuff ( ended up just being two quilters)
anyways, I was cleaning up my big craft table, since LAST time we had a full house, so I empty everything off of the table, I have this lazy susan thing, I decided to organize it, I found lots of goodies in the bottom!!- not really, except maybe 6-8 bobbins!

Here's the end result, big change! well I know the change, you probably don't :-)
and DON't look at the quilt behind in the picture above, that's the quilt for a CERTAIN quilt magazine, got binding attached, just need to hand sew it.

While I was at it, lint has been getting onto the wheels of my office chair- all this was from ONE wheel!! I just pulled it, didn't get in there with plyers or anything, don't want to!

Saw this on Bonnie Hunter's FB page today!
(are you getting ready for her mystery quilt- easy street?- I am)
and this is an older one I saved :-)

I thought there was more to share, but I guess not...

You must have the Message Bible, which I love. It certainly explains the scriptures in 'todays' language. I especially love to read the Psalms.
I can't decide if I will be making the mystery quilt. I have 3 finished quilts now that I'm trying to machine quilt using my domestic machine. I don't have enough of a 'constant' and need white and black fabrics. I need to make a decision soon. I may decide to use my new Go strip dies and make a red/rust and cream log cabin quilt.

Bea, you may be a B, but in my book you are an A plus!!! What a laugh I just had, and just what I needed to end a terrible day...
