IB dress for Sonja

So included in the box from Island Batik, was 2 different yards of Batik RAYON fabrics. (I actually have 2 more fabrics here from 2years ago where I need to make dresses for myself-just never got around to it)

I got out a simplicity pattern #4661 and made this dress for Sonja!

She was eager to wear it, so I put her in it with long sleeves and tights Smile

she’s so “stylish” especially with pink hello kitty socks Smile with tongue out

I do have a hat to sew with it too, just haven’t made it yet.

also stay tuned for a blog hop soon, using island batik and a new Wendy Sheppard book!
