Black and white boxed in quilt top

remember how I won these BOMs at my quilt guild last month?

The BOMs that I designed for November….

I turned it into a quilt top- I know some of you voted on a plain outer border, but I wanted to do it scrappy!!

I love the result!

( I just have to be careful quilting it, as some blocks were not 7” and my outer border ended up being wider than the middle, but the amount of strips match with what’s supposed to be the amount- just have to be careful….)

I love how it looks from a distance like this, that some blocks have a high contrast and some don’t, I put them together very randomly and tried to not have the same blocks touch each other in the rows.

aren’t these blocks just GREAT!????

I just want to quilt something simple on this I think and give the quilt back to pine tree when it’s done.

If you want the directions for the block it’s in my craftsy store here
