BOMS and BOWS

I finished the Kitschy BOM- utensils!

2014-08-11 001

Then I also finished our guilds BOM’s for this coming year, I’m on the BOM committee, so we had to test the patterns and meet to talk about them Smile

This one was a NEAT block to make

and I don’t think I’ve ever made a chinese lantern block before, but it was fun and easy!

and one block is with wool and I HAND did the button hole stitches around with presencia threads.

I also worked on a women of the bible BOW, again these are 3 1/2” so really TINY and this time I rotary cut them, the strips for the corner 9 patches were cut 7/8” wide…. doesn’t look too bad!?

see the seam allowance even overlapped each other!

I’ve been working on 3 secret projects for Island batiks, so I’m glad that I had these giveaways and could schedule posts ahead of time Smile

I have to agree with everyone else, I LOVE the jar of utensils, (I've not as keen on some of the other kitchen blocks). I particularly love that Laced Square was it FPP'd? Your wool blocks are also gorgeous, and I've long been a fan of the teeny, tiny Women of the Bible blocks, another resounding success B,
