Pin cushions, embroidery and teacher gifts

I got a nice squishy package from Beverly yesterday, a cute chicken pin cushion for the pin cushion swap, and I forgot I had a conversation with her about buttons for my blue shirt I made a few weeks ago.

So she sent me some mini buttons, too cute!!

then I’ve been finishing up the teacher’s gifts, I decided not to add binding but to turn it inside out and then add chocolates.

And my daughter’s teacher got a portfolio, a basket and a tissue box cover.

And these were the only chocolates left and guess what!? Now the bowl is empty!!

I’ve been EMBROIDERING a lot lately too, as I won the prayer garden CD from anitagoodesign in the spring.

I’m having SO much fun with it, used a jelly roll from Connecting threads and white cotton.

I’m doing the SMALL size which will finish at 37” x 37” and “only” 300000 stitches!!

Here’s my favorite blocks so far
