Ahhhh Gracie's glass

Ahhhh #5 is called Gracie's glass

Here I colored it for Tonya.
BTW if you want to order these or join the "club" click here

So since my other Ahhh wasn't all the way flat I figured I'd try to go back to thread basting, here the sections are sewn together

Do LOVE these small hexies, they are SO cute!!

Now- not so much the mini triangles, I may actually glue those next time, they are just too little to fiddle with, but I tried :-)
the middle triangle is actually a different mottled red, but can't tell.

First stage done

This morning I finished it, since I thread basted I removed the papers as I went along and it lays a LOT flatter now.

look at the messy back though! :-)

And a Sonja pic :-) she just had a bath.

Again some fun pics from FB, I find a lot under Quiltville- Bonnie Hunter AND local quilt shop Wish upon a quilt

My husband actually says A LOT of these to me.... brownie points!!

I think I'm VERY athletic now- how about you??

I really don't have THAT many things that fit this, but a FEW

Now this is totally ME!! (hang head low)

You are ahead of me now!! Oh no!
Yes, take out the papers and the other will lie flat too. I personally like my paper to stay until the end but then I hate taking ALL that paper out.

You are having so much fun!

Cute little block. Have you considered using Inklingo to make your Ahhhh block instead of EPP and basting? I no affliation, just love the product!
You are so brave to post of LIST of what needs doing. Hats off to you, Bea!

That's a wonderful hexie! You should have no problem with the original Ruth block this week. I was thinking Inklingo too, but probably don't have these shapes.
