Going to marketplace

Today I went to the quilt marketplace near us with a neighbor and friend.

I took a few pics of quilts and quilting

this one was really pretty

and look! orca bay!! it looked great there

I also saw hissy fitz design
maybe 2 summers ago, I bought this kit and decided to needle turn it instead of machine applique, well it's still on my list!

the same time I bought this pattern and made a quilt for my friend in Denmark

we then saw these cute placemats, made from a panel and border fabrics, simple and easy

on our way out we saw this!

isn't that a cuuute owl?

well.... I bought it !! plus some fabric markers for stamping? a pin, and a jacket pattern.
I'll make the owl for Sonja- maybe without the yo yo eyes with buttons- it still has printed eyes on the fabric which is still cute.

look at the pin! isn't it fitting?

and Sonja was so great there too, plus I had to watch a theater reading at my daughter's school today too and Sonja was great there too

Looks like fun, there's always so much inspiration at quilt market. Definitely a plus when the baby is happy throughout. Something more to add to your list for 2013!

What size is that Orca Bay? Is it a miniature? It looks soooo small!
