women of the Bible BOW and drunkards path quilt top 2012 progress

This week's BOW is Rebekah.

I honestly haven't read much about her yet, as our "leader" is sick, but I did read a little in the book I got with this study.

I was looking at my pile of fabrics for this set and picked two orange fabrics with dots, as Rebekah had twins, these are very similar but one is darker than the other.

Can't remember why I picked the birds- I just liked it :-)

I edited the block a little in EQ to make those diamond shapes into two triangles for easy piecing

Meanwhile I finished the DP batik top, I'm still not LOVING this one, it looks cool like this as a small pic, the whole WONKY idea, backfired on me as you can't make a circle wonky! duh!

So see where some of the pie pieces meet, it just looks like I cut them all wrong. sigh... oh well.

I have some scraps that I might use for a border, otherwise I have solid black.

Sonja is liking her jungle bouncer more and more, I put some albums under her feet so she can bounce a little

I finished the BLOCKS for mcCall's- but can't show you.

I need a new leaders and enders project, but a BIG box of fabrics are coming soon :-)

so may have to wait
