I thought I was speeding thru this tree skirt
I've shown this layout before.
I had all the block parts done and then had to sew the seams with inset seams- kind of tricky! so I pinned the "rows" together 4 times and sewed, then when I started ironing, I saw it was all wrong!
so I got out Jack the ripper and ripped out this seams. SIGH!
THIS is how they are supposed to be pieced together!
I've also been working on the hidden forest chipmunk block, it's almost done! I think I have less than 5 pieces to sew on...
Just had to show another picture of my little princess :-)
My son had a birthday last month and got money from both grandparents so we ordered two technic lego cars for him, here's the progress on the first one. Daddy has had to help a few times, it's very different from regular legos!
back to sewing!

Oh, the years that Legos, in all their varied forms, were constantly underfoot--even when I thought they were "cleaned up." Good times! : )
