blazing star Accuquilt Go!

I've been having fun with the Go! cutter, haven't done as much as I would have liked.
I really love love love the blazing star die. Last week I got an email from fabric.com (SURPRISE!) and they had fabrics for 3.95 so I looked at saw these cute pastels.
Then I used EQ6 and designed the blazing star layout above and figured out the fabrics I needed and ordered them, today I got the fabrics in the mail and I washed them and then tonight started cutting out everything. well I forgot about the waste, so I don't have enough of the blues, SO I had to go back in EQ and re-design it, I did a 4 x 4 grid then and widened the sashing strips.
I hardly have any leftover fabric left, other than the junky strips from the dies. I'm going to toss that, it's just not worth keeping, they are too small, all stuck together and wonky shapes and wierd direction on the fabric.....
I usually love bright colors, but think this will look cute in the pastel colors.

snowman quilt

at the quilt show in sanford in thebeginning of january, I bought this pattern set of these cute calendar quilts, I finished january and I'm working on february, I'm doing all needle turn, so it takes a while.
Here I quilted with a variegated thread, the quilting is a little off, oh well, can't win them all.
Oh and today my hopping foot broke! yikes- right near the end of a customer's quilt, STINKS

WOO HOO My birthday gift is here!

I knew this would get here in time for my birthday, but it came actually earlier than I thought it would. YAY!
Let's see what's in the box!

I ordered the Mix n Match set AND the blazing star die!

Here's the GO! open.

And a stack of dies :-)

Okay so I goofed on the blazing star, but now I know.
it was pretty easy to make actually, and I already ordered fabrics from fabric.com to make a quilt with this die, they should get here in a few days.

Finally I finished these place mats and table topper.
oh, that was alot of binding to do!
Here's a close up of the place mat!
And the table topper

tweet baby quilt

Here's another quilt that's been in the works for a while.
I designed this in EQ and ordered fabrics from the TWEET collection at connecting threads.
finally got around to quilting it.
I'm giving this to some new parents at church.
I will also make this pattern into a pdf file.

batik triangle quilt

I finally finished this quilt, I designed it in EQ, then ordered fabrics from fabric.com which TWICE they sent one of the fabrics wrong.... so I wasted time just waiting for that to come.
finally pieced the top, while I was quilting it, I figured I MIGHT run out of thread, also because it was so dense ( I started before thanksgiving) so I ordered more right away plus a few more cones of thread just to get my shipping's worth. the box came without the TAN!! which was on b/o so that didn't come until after christmas, by then I DID run out of the thread, 1/4 row of the border short..... so I had to take it off the frame because I had a customer's quilt I had to work on first. Then finally got the thread and the quilt back on the frame to just finish quilting it in less than 30 min.
The binding was already cut out and sewn together, so that went pretty quick sewing that on. and while I've been working on it, my husband CLAIMED the quilt, so I embroidered this lovely label for it.- HEY I gotta let him have it and kiss up a little, after all he lets me buy all this fabric all the time :-)
I'm thinking of entered this into a quilt show. we'll see
And I'm also making a pdf pattern for this one
