Wow, I switched over to a new blogger layout....Don't think YOU see a difference, but I do when I post.
Anyways, we had class 5 of an 8 week sampler quilt class tonight.
All the blocks are pretty much done or close to them.
I snapped a few pics :-)
this house block was a re-do.
One of my students, decided to redo the block and made the one of the right, it does look better.
Here's 11 of 12 blocks done ( this student didn't bring her blocks last week so I didn't take any pics)
such a lovely difference in all the colors between them all.
here's the missing block- paper piecing kaleidoscope.
all 12 blocks done here, just missing sashing and borders.
Can't wait to see them all done.
3 totally different ones ( well plus mine)
Here's the blocks they've done in order
#1 double nine patch ( nine patch within a nine patch)
#2 log cabin
#4 Flying geese
#5 eight pointed star ( paper template)
#6 Churn dash
#7 Kaleidoscope the SMART way- using plastic smart plate template
#8 Monkey wrench
#9 drunkard's path ( plastic template)
#10 Country cottage/ house, part paper templates
#11 Paper pieced kaleidoscope
#12 machine applique
What do you think?
Now I'm getting ideas for another class....
a twist on bargello, I haven't made one of those in a long time, but I missed the sign up date for next semester AGAIN.... so it won't be until may, UNLESS I have 3 or 4 again at my house.....
it would be after christmas though.
